Milena Tejada

Milena Tejada, a flamenco dancer born in La Paz (Bolivia) in 1998, began her dance journey at the age of 3. She discovered flamenco in 2009 and soon became part of the first flamenco and Spanish dance company in Bolivia. Recognized as a young talent, she received the Young Promise Artist Award from the Ministry of Culture of La Paz in 2013.

Her artistic path led her to Seville, where she trained at the prestigious Fundación Cristina Heeren with masters such as Milagros Mengíbar, Javier Barón, Antonio Molina “El Choro,” and Luisa Palicio. Over the years, she has performed at international festivals in Canada and across Latin America, winning several prizes in Spain, including the Flamenco Puro contest in Jerez and the II International Tablao Competition in Madrid. In 2023, she premiered her first solo production Creciente, which received outstanding reviews and was nominated for Best Dance Performance
