This July, El Duende Flamenco Bar & Cocktails presents a vibrant and intimate programme featuring artists who represent different generations, styles, and ways of experiencing flamenco today.

El Duende Flamenco Bar

Throughout the month, we will welcome Cristina Soler, El Tete, Lorena Oliva, and José Escarpín as featured artists, alongside names such as Rafa Ramírez, Pedro Medrano, Sergio Barroso, El Chino, Noemí Ferrer, Montserrat Martínez, Azahar, Eli, and Lola. An intense and diverse programme in the intimate atmosphere that defines El Duende.

Cristina Soler

Born in Granada, Cristina Soler is a flamenco dancer with solid training and a powerful stage presence. She has worked in productions by artists such as Eva Yerbabuena, Rafaela Carrasco, Rubén Olmo, Marina Heredia, and Mercedes de Córdoba, performing in national and international theatres and festivals.

Her dancing combines technique, elegance, and depth, bringing to the stage of El Duende a flamenco expression full of strength and sensitivity.

El Tete

Born in Sant Roc, Badalona, Ricardo Fernández “El Tete” comes from a Roma family with a deep flamenco tradition. Despite his youth, he has established himself as one of the most promising flamenco dancers of the moment.

His dancing stands out for its strength, rhythm, and unusual artistic maturity, making him one of the great rising talents in today’s flamenco scene.

Lorena Oliva

A flamenco dancer born in Barcelona, Lorena Oliva trained at the Institut del Teatre and has developed a career marked by sensitivity, technique, and a strong stage connection.

She has taken part in different projects and performances, and in 2021 she premiered her first solo work, Nuclear. At El Duende, her dancing brings personality, elegance, and a contemporary perspective on flamenco.

José Escarpín

Born in Murcia, José Escarpín began his training at a very young age at the Amor de Dios school in Madrid, studying with masters such as Juan Ramírez, Alfonso Losa, José Maya, Antonio Canales, and La Tati.

His career has taken him to international stages in the United States, Mexico, Italy, and beyond. At El Duende, his dancing brings intensity, character, and a strong connection to the roots of flamenco.

Alongside them, artists such as Rafa Ramírez, Pedro Medrano, Sergio Barroso, El Chino, Noemí Ferrer, Montserrat Martínez, Azahar, Eli, and Lola complete a July programme full of energy, talent, and emotion.
