Aitana Rousseau

Aitana Rousseau Cañadas, born in Almería, holds a Professional Degree in Flamenco Dance from the “Kina Jiménez” Professional Dance Conservatory.

At just 24 years old, she has already been part of the Andalusian Dance Centre, the corps de ballet of the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía (Seville), and the National Ballet of Spain (Madrid), where she performed as a principal dancer.

She is currently a member of the David Coria Company and the Úrsula López Company, and also performs in numerous prestigious flamenco tablaos.

She recently premiered her first solo show, Anatomía del Límite, as part of the international cycle Tras la Danza in the city of Almería.

She was awarded the “Outstanding Dancer” prize at the Choreographic Competition of the Community of Madrid (2022), and has also worked as a choreographer for the 25th National Dance Call – Ciudad de Castellón Awards.
